Paul Lewin

Paul Lewin is a lawyer in Toronto who has litigated drug cases and consulted on drug matters across Canada for over 30 years.

His focus concerns matters related to cannabis and psychedelics. Paul has advised doctors, therapists, nurses, patients, businesses, politicians, teachers, the police and other lawyers on cannabis and psychedelic law in Canada.
Paul has spoken at cannabis and psychedelic events, lectured at universities and been interviewed in the media dozens of times about cannabis and psychedelics. Paul has spearheaded advocacy campaigns across the country and lobbied politicians at all levels of government.
Marc will discuss freedom of thought and its relevance to psychedelic law.
Marc Z. Goldgrub

Marc Z. Goldgrub is the founding lawyer at Green Economy Law Professional Corporation, a Toronto-based litigation and corporation law firm focused on sustainability, psychedelics, and housing.
Marc is licensed to practice law in Ontario and New York State. He is a member of TheraPsil, and Green Economy Law is a Psychedelic Association of Canada business alliance member.
Marc also runs the website PsychedelicLaw.ca
Marc will discuss the ongoing psychedelic law developments in the U.S., especially regarding Ibogaine, and how this is likely to impact Canadian psychedelic law in the future.
John Gilchrist
Director of Communications, TheraPsil
John is an ardent supporter of drug policy reform and believes the growing acceptance of psychedelics and psychedelic therapy marks a paradigm shift in the treatment of mental health.
John was aware of the healing powers of psilocybin and other psychedelics but was truly blown away by a personal story from a patient in 2021. Since then, John has been focused on doing whatever possible to support the legalization of psychedelic therapy and to help change public perception towards it. He is honoured and privileged to support TheraPsil’s patients alongside such a professional and dedicated team. Therapsil.ca
John will be sharing be sharing what he learned as an advocate working with patients who have found profound relief through psychedelic-assisted therapy, including some of the most powerful stories we have witnessed at TheraPsil. Also he will speak to what a compassionate, regulated pathway for psychedelic care in Canada could look like in practice, and what it might mean for people who are currently out of options
